Jul 8, 2022 I’m going to get absolutely ruthlessly r---d for this opinion. However, I love Revival. Yes. You’ve heard it here. It was the first album I listened to on its release date, and it’s the album I became a proper stan with. I heard his previous albums before, but I never sat down and just streamed his albums from beginning to finish. I of course heard the occasional LTWYL on the radio which was always a b-----r to my ears. But Revival has that nostalgia for me, yknow what I mean? It will always rank high on my list mainly because of that.
Jul 8, 2022 So you're nostalgia blind and can't discern quality from personal emotion attachment, got it
Jul 8, 2022 d---, I’m lucky I’m old in this case. Seen My Name is on MTV and thought it was catchy but didn’t take him serious until someone slipped me the guilty conscience CD single that had 97 Bonnie and Clyde as a B side. Then I heard Just don’t give a f--- and the rest is history
Jul 8, 2022 That's what Recovery is to me, and it's actually the first album I've ever listened to (after Thriller maybe) and the first eminem album I played too. I already knew him from The Real Slim Shady, My Name Is and Without Me, but I had never listened to his first 3 albums. Recovery is actually a good album except for a couple of songs tho lol, it's not only nostalgic to me
Jul 8, 2022 I respect opinions, what is your reason of Encore being your favourite album? It is my favourite album aesthetic behind the Eminem show but Encore is pretty low on my list.
Jul 8, 2022 Was my first Em album. Got it when I was 9 or something for Xmas the year it came out lol. Played that s--- everyday for months, turning the volume down every time Obie said "even tho my penis was deep down in your hole" idk It's just my favourite Em voice, the beats are great, and has a good variety of fun and serious songs. When I think of Eminems sound, I think of Encore
Jul 8, 2022 Got my First Eminem album when I was 8. One of my classmate friends stole it from his brother and we listen to it on a CD player all the time when we hanged out. I’m back and the real slim shady were my favorite songs growing up ever since. Also once my mom found out I was listening to Kim and not gospel music on my CD player she took it away. Good times lol
Jul 8, 2022 I started with TES in 02 and I still think it's a classic. Now I just need that Expanded CD, Paul.
