Jul 13, 2022 The important difference between everything on MMLP and the vast majority of modern Eminem's songs is in why he talked and how he talked. Each line, whether it was about a blo-jo- or not, had a reason to be said, it wasn't a random line thrown in just for the sake of it. If there was something childish and immature, it was done on purpose, and he was completely aware of what he was doing and what for. Everything didn't sound forced, not even crazy and silly stuff like his verse on Under the influence. Nowadays his logic for most of the time seems to be something like this "oh this is a cool wordplay, and this is a good pun, I must definitely put this somewhere in a verse".

Jul 13, 2022 I don't think cover is horrible. I don't think I loved it neither. It's just a cover... I guess I'd have cared a bit more if it was better but whatever. I'm more interested in getting a nice, buffy booklet with photos and stuff in it. I'm gonna buy the physical and physicals are only good for me for their booklets lol. I don't even think I can play cds unless I go to my car anymore lol, I just don't have the equipment for it at home.

One of the only times after his hiatus (if not the only time) he managed to match the vibe of a song, stay on topic, deliver introspective bars and not ruin it with r-----ed fast robot rapping. 2010 is an underrated era. Recovery would have been a new skl classic if he did his own hooks and cut out the s-----y "fun" songs.

But for example: Cudi dropped a greatest hits album called The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1 (lol) last week or so and nobody gave af (I'll send you 10€ if you knew about that), which kinda made me realize that this is just not the move anymore lmao. Only good thing to came out of this was the song Love being released for streaming.

That even becomes more of the case for people who want to collect vinyls of said albums. When it comes to modern Em idc what the album cover looks like as long as the d--- music is good. But this cover does look cheap or overdone.
