Jul 22, 2022 We all love to play with numbers eh.. The Marshall Mathers LP Devils Night The Eminem Show 8 Mile Soundtrack D12 World Encore Curtain Call: The Hits Relapse Recovery h---: The Sequel The Marshall Mathers LP 2 Revival Kamikaze Music To Be Murdered By All these 14 Eminem-related projects reached number one and only two of them has Rihanna on them @Marsh lel
Jul 22, 2022 Your opinion on these projects is not relevant, they went number one whether you like them or not.
Jul 22, 2022 Just made a play list of “Woke” Eminem songs and you could have 2-3 CD’s worth of material, I still laugh when people say the guy got no content random thought: Talking 2 Myself still one of his greatest tracks idgaf
Jul 22, 2022 No comment on your first statement.. But Talking 2 Myself is definitely one of his best tracks. Easily top 10 post hiatus for me.
Jul 22, 2022 I feel like half of recovery still tops anything he’s put out since 2009… Cold Wind Blows, Talking 2 Myself, Going Through Changes, Not Afraid, Seduction, No Love, 25 To Life, Almost Famous, Ridaz… those are still some great a--- songs…
Jul 22, 2022 Recovery is such a polarizing album, especially here. A lot of people seem to dislike it. But I couldn't agree more. You can tell he put effort into it and had things to adress that he never did with Relapse. It feels like a comeback album much more than Relapse was. Even just by the title itself.
Jul 22, 2022 You know I was talking bout singles not albums. Number 1 songs, not just hits. I hope he will have more number 1 songs though, it can't be that hard, just drop a good single before the album and promote it a bit.
Jul 22, 2022 There's a second CD, and Royce is on some of the best songs from the last albums. He will be there for sure.
Jul 22, 2022 These were the hits on CC1: The Way I Am My Name Is Stan Lose Yourself Sing For The Moment Without Me Like Toy Soldiers The Real Slim Shady Mockingbird Guilty Conscience Cleanin' Out My Closet Just Lose It At the time, new, previously unreleased tracks and therefore not yet hits: Fack Shake That When I'm Gone Also an Intro and a liveversion of the hitsong Stan, featuring Elton John, and I believe this was actually released as a physical single as well. Stans Mixape was a bonusdisc which I believe had some of Eminems personal favourites and was supposed to be non hit songs as opposed to the maindisc which was supposed to be hits only along with 3 new tracks.
Jul 22, 2022 There being a second CD doesnt mean Royce is on there. It also doesnt matter if you think some of Ems best songs feature Royce, thats not the criteria of what makes the album or not
Jul 22, 2022 He did say that he had to learn how to rap again once he became sober so maybe Relapse was him just to redeem himself, playing with different rhyme schemes/flows which makes sense in a way
Jul 22, 2022 He did on Relapse, but he put all of that into one (classic) song: Deja Vu. I like a lot of Relapse, beats and flow, as been said many times, are flawless. But man do I wish we got Hello, Old Times Sake, SSAD etc without accents. Recovery has a lot of gems, only a few meh songs imo which 2 of them are singles
Jul 22, 2022 It does a little though. Not that bad. Also dont hear any accent at all in Crack a Bottle. Some dumb lines but overall slaps too
Jul 22, 2022 Relapse would've been a lot better if it didn't have We Made You, Crack A Bottle and For Old Times Sake. Replace those 3 with any of the songs of the Refill batch and you've got a AAA album right off the bat without the need of putting out any Deluxe. Anyways good old Marshall was right about the "going back and regrade" his albums. I hated Relapse up until a few years ago. It made me cringe. And now I love it. Guess I wasn't ready for it back then.
