Jul 23, 2022 When Relapse came out in 2009, I don’t recall any backlash. I guess people were used to Em putting out those types out lyrics at that point. But I could see a ton of backlash happening if Relapse came out in 2022 since the climate has changed.
Jul 23, 2022 Relapse is a great album just wasn't an appropriate comeback album. Releasing something as casual as Relapse now would have been a great move. It's not an album full of songs about haters and how poor he was and how great he is. Not that I mind that kind of content, but it would have been refreshing and welcome now to switch it up to something as random as Relapse. The cancel culture would k--- him of course, I'm surprised they still don't know about the album.
