Aug 15, 2021 When Revival came out me and my little bro got together as tradition when a new Eminem Album drops.. and honestly our jaws dropped. As a fan since the start I thought this was album was going to be huge. I was actually shocked when I found out we were in the minority. To me that was his Eminem Show PT2, obviously not going to compare the two here as I hold that album in high regard ranked as his second best but that opening track “Believe” was just crazy. I don’t mind all the fun tracks on there they would have been hits during the Eminem Show days imo, times have changed that’s all. It’s getting harder and harder to rank all his albums - honestly every album can serve its purpose just depends what mood you are in. The main album that I slept on was MMLP2 and now that I have recently gone back to it - tons of those songs are fresh in my playlists. The only one I haven’t been able to truly ever get into was Relapse. Only because of the accents. My Darling though is an exceptionally brilliant song.
