Jul 30, 2022 Do you guys think we could get a lost tapes album from Em soon, This year we have gotten 2 vaulted Em songs released. This is the first time they have ever gone back through the vault and done this. This could mean they could be preparing a lost tapes album for the HOF induction. Its obvious this year is about legacy and not new music . This year is marking 20 years since Em peaked. TES, 8 Mile. So maybe its just wish full thinking but maybe we could get a lost tapes type thing. What do you guys think ?
Jul 30, 2022 I don’t think it’s a sign he is open to releasing unreleased songs imo. Just something he released as thank you to the fans imo. Jimmy, Brian and Mike, and Lose Yourself demo do nothing for me and I think there both pretty s--- and that time period is considered his prime, so his earlier stuff I’m not too fussed on. I think his ear on what was good or bad back then was on point, everything he touched on his albums was gold and what he recorded, probably made the album, what didn’t, probably wasn’t good enough Now he records 50 songs every album so there be lots of gems in his vault. Will we ever hear it? I doubt it but never say never.
