Jul 31, 2022 I'm probably alone in this, but I'm kinda glad he re-recorded Is This Love. Sure its probably written and produced in 2009 but hearing "current" eminem on this song makes me feel like he just made it and its not something hidden in the vault. Hard to explain really but I'm happy w it. And we got 2 other songs. I like the King and I especially the 3rd verse. Ceelo is awful on it though. Verses are fine. However, the Snoop song is the one I'm most happy with. Its all I want from 2022 Eminem tbh.
Jul 31, 2022 I almost wish if he was gonna re-record old unreleased songs, he’d just release them without saying they’re old like I think if he dropped “is this love” as a single with a video and no “(‘09)” or any mention of it being old, people would look at it different. but at the same time I do appreciate the honesty, they’re not trying to fool us
Jul 31, 2022 I'm curious to see if he's made any other changes to songs like he did with Godzilla for CC2
Jul 31, 2022 Eminem changed a lyric on the first track so that people have to listen all the way through the album to see if there's any other changes lol GOAT marketing
Jul 31, 2022 Listened. I like the hook, 50 sounds great, Em seems to sound modern but idk if re-recorded. Bit too playful but still good song at least judging from the lq leak.
Jul 31, 2022 Honestly I'm sure em, and almost every artist thats making music for a long time, sometimes uses older verses / beats / concepts in their music. I mean as long as its not released it technically still is a 'new' song to the public. So who cares really when it was created. Ofcourse with this song you can here by the production its Relapse Dre , but if it wasn't I honestly wouldn't care if they presented it as a new song because it still is.
Jul 31, 2022 I want to admit i was one of the losers who tried to look for signs new songs were old. Like castle
