    It was back then mate.
    I don't know when you started becoming a fan of his music, but if you were a fan pretty much since day 1 (I got into his music in 2002), I was expecting something like MMLP or TES, because Encore was already a little disappointing for me. I started appreciating Relapse after 2017. Now I love it. But back then it was just... unorthodox and far too different to what Em was known for.

    I was ready to give up on his music. But then he came out with Recovery and that was a beacon of hope. I jumped right back on the train.

    Also ... Relapse was a time in his life. Same as Recovery. He's sober now so the ony "relapse 2" thats possible is some unreleased stuff from that era
