Even the Christopher Reeve impression in Medicine Ball is something modern day Eminem could never pull of; he's lost too much of his old charisma and youthful exuberance (imagine being delusional enough to believe that Discombobulated hook was recorded in 2020 ). Whoever said recently that Relapse was the last classic (in the sense vintage) Eminem album wasn't wrong. 40 hit him like a freight train. I wonder how much of it was psychological rather than physical.
Aug 2, 2022 Em's choices for music videos have been awful since Encore. He used to be a lot better at deciding which songs deserved to have videos, and then the videos matched the greatness of the song.
