Aug 26, 2022 Jay z doesnt rap like a maniac thats why. Eminem yells too much and f--- fast rap too. Yall just jealous because jayz and still droppin classics while eminems legacy is done since encore hahahhaha
Aug 26, 2022 OK, here's what I have to say about this song and current Eminem. I rated Use This Gospel with a 6. Not really feeling it. I feel like Em has definitely ran out of things to say. Most of his creative energy seems to be on coming up with flows and cadences which are good for most of the time, although you an easily tell he's been repeating certain patterns on different songs. He's not using the same one for all of the recent songs he's participated in, but he's definitely had like 4 different type of 'styles' he's used for the past 10 collaborations. But he's not using his creativeness to come up with anything that will leave the listener thinking or reflecting about. If we do ever come back any of the songs he's partaken for the past 2 or 3 years it's because of the flows. And because we are fans. I'd love to think he's saving everything for a new album. For a new classic. But it's hard to mean that wholeheartedly. There's no actual evidence that he can come up with revolutionary ideas or songs that will make his new album a classic. Apart from songs like Darkness, Castle/Arose and very few others. In order to change things around, he'd need to experiment a lot and get out of his current comfort zone, but as we know it'll be very hard for him to even try after what happend with Revival in which he thought he was doing exactly that, and it wasn't very well received at all.
Aug 26, 2022 Wayne, Kanye, Nas and Jay all still killing it. Wayne is probably the feature king. Wish Em was still on their level when it comes to collabs. I still think Jay had the best verse on Khaled's album
Aug 26, 2022 Dude was rapping about the lord and savior Jesus christ (which he rarely says anything about) and he's ran out of things to say? What did ya want him to rap about? I'm not saying you're completely wrong about him running out of things to say but in this song he just rapped about religion really. I do hate that yall expect dude to reinvent himself when other rappers don't but they don't get this sort of criticism
Aug 26, 2022 I agree with parts of this but I feel like UTG has material we've never heard from Em. I have a question. What has Jay, Nas, or Wayne done differently now vs their whole career? Nas and Jay's content and flows are pretty redundant as well as Em's. Em just seems to get extra criticism for some reason
Aug 26, 2022 It just still works. Nas just dropped Magic and it's pretty good. And his KD trilogy is good so far. Jay had WTT and 4:44. Kanye and Wayne have also been killing features lately Don't get me wrong, I love Em and Side B, but he makes a lot of mistakes, specially when it comes to features.
Aug 26, 2022 Can't believe people really don't like this song, it's the first one that feels like a song instead of a beat hook and random bars put together You people deserve Parables remixes till you die
Aug 26, 2022 Not even in a billion years and alternative multimetaverses It's more enjoyable and a vibe song than this one but h--- no
Aug 26, 2022 I just think the best version of Eminem would have said a lot more regarding God/Jesus than this version of Eminem. He would've tackled the topic in an entirely different way. Please, sum it up for me: What's the message in Em's verse according to you?. What did you take from it after you listened to it?. Well, I don't consider any of those the #1 GOAT, so I don't expect greatness from them all the time. To me, Em is #1 and it's not even close. And perhaps I'm being unfair to Em thinking that he can still blow us away every year.
Aug 26, 2022 See that's what I'm talking about. Moon and slim was really good when it came out but it doesn't even feel like a song, it's not well put together. It's kid cudi saying good night to me with a boring voice and a boring flow and boring bars on a basic beat and Em finally waking me up but still; just a mix of a beat(or two) and two random verses, that's it If it were on an album it would totally be a filler song, that's my problem with these features
