Aug 19, 2021 It’s not important anymore to have a hit though like it was 10 years ago. Why you’ve seen Kamikaze and MTBMB not have any forced, label singles but lot of songs on both those albums are what you consider a hit in this day of age. No offence man but you seem like you’re stuck in age from 20 years ago with Eminem’s music. You want OLD SLIM SHADY, he needs to make songs with Rihanna etc. Not only would it not work if he did that, two he has all ready done that and three it wouldn’t work anymore in the current era of music.
Aug 19, 2021 It is, singles make up for most of the sales of rappers, with pop it's different, cause pop fans buy more merch and physicals. A song with Rihanna would still work. And if he's gonna make 2 or 3 corny songs for every album. At least make a hit. But like I already said. I don't care, it can't get worse than MTBMB. If he drops the next one and doesn't even mention it, it won't be anything new, so it's cool. I also hate surprise releases but it is what it is.

Aug 19, 2021 No it does not. It ramps up streams for that particular song but will dramatically fall off and hardly affect people buying a album for it. People will either quickly stream it on what ever platform they have. Love The You Way Lie coming out now would not work like it did 11 years ago for many reasons. Why Revival promo failed, Beyoncé feature didn’t do anything and album sales was disappointment because music has moved on. Surprise or quick releases is where music is at now.

If he ever works with Rihanna again it will chart pretty high for sure. Too bad she got lost in fashion like her boyfriend. Quick releases yeah, surprise releases s--- and only worked once, and it was for Beyoncé

Aug 19, 2021 I feel like this is a very important part in ems career like what the f--- left is there really for him to talk about how many more twist and turns can he do with the same songs I feel one lane Em has yet to take is a dark album similar to the vibes of no apologies. It's crazy because if you listen to the instrumental of guns blazing even nice guy they're very dark angry beats but he always chooses to do the typical relationship song with them.
