Sep 3, 2022 Carti and Eminem aren’t really comparable, they are barely in the same genre of music so this argument is a complete waste of time. They are both rappers but rap is such a big umbrella genre and two sub genres barely sound anything alike. So saying UHHHM EMINEM EPIC SHUT UP YOU LISTEN TO CARTI is the equivalent of saying “I can’t believe you like AC/DC, Gorillaz is way better.”

Sep 3, 2022 I know it might seem like I hate Eminem but I don’t. If you look through my posts you’ll see my opinions on him are pretty nuanced. I don’t love everything he does or hate everything he does. Like I’ve said I think his modern day music is mostly mediocre with lots of gems hidden throughout it. I think a lot of his new music lacks soul. I think his writing on side A was very technically impressive, but on side B it’s filled with dad jokes and puns but I still like it for the sonically pleasing side. You coming at my music taste makes no sense when I bet I like a lot of the same artists you do (JID, Joey Bada$$, Eminem). I just wanna see Eminem do better because I know he can do better. I don’t care about fitting in on this forum. You realize if I wanted to fit in I would’ve had an Eminem profile pic from the start right? Having a Playboi carti profile pic on this forum immediately put a target on my back and I knew it would because Eminem fans tend to be so judgmental of other music tastes and think theirs is superior. Hopefully he finds a creative spark that will make his music feel big and sounds like he has that passion again. I think this low-key break from his own music will do him wonders
