Sep 18, 2022 Kamikaze is a great album… The Ringer, Greatest, Lucky You, Stepping Stone, Not Alike & Fall… is insane. But no, it’s not his greatest. Definitely a come back type of album. He definitely needed that after Revival.
Sep 18, 2022 Can we stop pretending that Kamikaze is such a great album? The only reason it gets praised is because of how low the bar was set with Revival. It's medicore at best. The fact that it came as a surprise also helped it's reception. MTBMB Side A/B is a much better album imo.

Yet he HAD to add 3 fictional relationship songs that add nothing to the album. Why? Because every album has them? Stupid tbh. If he cut those and the stupid skits it would have been a great EP. Still a solid album though

It's right up there with Illmatic and The Chronic in terms of how much of an imprint it left in the game. Imagine comparing that to f---ing Kamikaze and MTBMB who aren't even top 5 of the year they were released in. You're a f---ing r-----.
Sep 18, 2022 Yeah, Em completely butchered Kami at the end with the love tracks and Venom song as a closer. His need for his albums to be balanced with a little bit of everything to please everyone is his biggest flaw and made no sense to do that for a album that was shorter as well, pointless.

Also spawn Venom… and wether you like it or not it’s one of his most recognizable songs by the younger crowd. Song is one of his most streamed singles this decade. Acting like Kamikaze wasn’t an Event is delusional. Its impact changed YouTube reaction channels forever.
