Oct 9, 2022 Yeah, it's such an illogical statement to make. Like why the f--- does he think 'good rapper' and 'good songs' are mutually exclusive??? You can do both - plenty of other rappers do. This is something he has forgotten. Just being a great rapper never got him his success, he should remember this. He was a nobody before the Bass Brothers picked him up and taught him how to make good music. Thank God his younger self had a different attitude. His mind is so warped now. If he had his current mindset back then, songs like Stan and Lose Yourself never would have seen the light of day coz "not technical enough". Its a d--- shame but it is what it is.
