Wayne's No Love verse is as good as Em's if not better. Thinking same as you. Drake at the beginning of his career was more authentic, fresher and had better melodies. He didn't sound like he was re recording the same songs over and over again. It's not nostalgia, it's just simply the fact that he was better, he had more authenticity back then. It's because of the songs like Mockingbird which went kinda viral. Half of the Encore is top notch Em anyway. It doesn't surprise me.

Dec 12, 2022 It’s the musical equivalent of eating stale white bread. That’s how I’d describe most pop music from the early 2010s. Producers were still getting used to the new technology and didn’t have a good grip on it. A lot of the instrumentals back then sound very cheap and lifeless. The verses on Drop the World are kinda generic too. It lacks flavor.
