Aug 28, 2021 Correct Revival was the last album under interscope/aftermath contract But Eminem signed another 1 album deal with them and dropped kamikaze MTBMB is independent album but with distribution deal and credits with the labels
Aug 28, 2021 Walkthrough! is — hands-down — the best collaborative work Eminem has done in years. Both Eminem and Grips delivered absolutely fantastic verses, and Grips nailed the hook. The Eminem verse is technically impressive, pretty entertaining (autotune, ding dong ditch), and closes on a more serious note that makes his verse relevant to Grips; this is Eminem at his best. After a year of features that Em seems to have completely phoned in, this is a very welcome change. P.S. — The rest of the album is quite good as well. Props to Em for recognizing Grips' talent and giving him a deal.
Aug 28, 2021 But seriously Em has some crazy reach and he seems to be cool with so many people to the point where he can probably do some crazy s--- with his own music or a crazy collaborative effort or some s--- so it could be neat to see him take advantage of that
Aug 28, 2021 Or more hits and promo. Leaving a big label always meant less sales. Maybe even Em will have to promote his projects lol it's not like his sales are huge anymore.
Aug 28, 2021 Em can't break the internet tbh. Rap God was the closest since he came back. And Kamikaze, I guess
Aug 28, 2021 Dude, are you aware Kamiakze was not that long ago? And yes, his sales are huge. Of course, it can change if he continues not to do any promo but there is a chance his sales already depend solely on his core fanbase. In such case, promo won't change much.
Aug 28, 2021 He's been under 300K, they ain't that big. Drake and Kanye with all the promo they've done should outsell him easily. In before Kanye flops, but I think he's music isn't for everyone so... Drake will outsell Em for sure.
Aug 28, 2021 It wouldn't have even happened without MGK's response. Remember he's the only one who answered.
