Jan 18, 2023 Some of the most lyrical rap verses of all time here. I spent 72 weeks figuring out what all the double and triple entendres meant. The rhyme schemes could’ve only been done by aliens. My entire enjoyment of the song actually hinges on this, and not because of how it sounds. Puts these modern rappers to shame.

Jan 18, 2023 Probably his back catalogue. He has arguably 3 Hip hop classics and some of the most recognizable hit songs of the the 2000’s/2010’s. His production influenced a ton of studio producers today. That College dropout to MTDF Album run was something else! Honestly only Eminem and Wayne had a stronger string of releases commercially in the 2000’s. He is the reason that 50 agreed to stop music as his primary job. Old Ye was a problem, also the production and music speaks for itself. A lot of my friends only listen to his new projects in playlists that include his old songs. So Kanye still gets streams either way
Jan 18, 2023 Kanye is top 3 greatest artists in hip hop. He probably couldn't even make a top 100 greatest rappers of all time skills wise. But as far as sound, influence, catalogue, impact, just overall greatness and the fact that he achieved that by, in fact, being a rapper, makes him one of the greatest Eminem and Jay have almost all of that plus they're better rappers so those would be the other 2 spots for me. And Lil wayne too, maybe Kendrick in a few years. Other than them there are a lot of better rappers but not as great as them, not even Drake cause he's barely a rapper
