Feb 23, 2023 I wouldn’t hate on it instantly either, but let’s be realistic. It’s not going to be anything like the original. I’m assuming a lot of these people want that sound and style from Eminem again. The problem with that is forcing yourself to go back to a style from 24 years ago is inauthentic and holding yourself back as an artist. Not only that, but he would be a 50 year old talking about murdering people and weird stories in cartoonish ways. He no longer has the charisma to pull that off. That’s why the closest he can get to this style now is Relapse. Relapse works a lot better for him because it’s not cartoonish. Relapse 2 is a much more realistic ask
