Apr 23, 2023 Drake dropped an album and called it a playlist, who cares? but if the artist calls it an EP or a playlist, that's what it is
Apr 23, 2023 Googled and found this: An album or LP (Long Play) refers to a full length body of work, features between 7-29 tracks and has a running time of roughly 35-60 mins. An EP (Extended Play) refers to a half-length body of work, features between 4-6 tracks and has a running time of roughly 15-22 mins (but can be up to 30 minutes).
Apr 23, 2023 Releasing Side B as a deluxe instead of a separate album, which they could have done, Music to be buried by, for example, was also a way of playing it safe.. instead of risking a flop, they just made MTBMB more successfull by adding the numbers from Side B to it..
Apr 23, 2023 Nah, it just didn’t need a second part. Other artists were also releasing long deluxes. Nothing new. It’s a deluxe and I’m cool with it, he sounds way more relaxed because of it. You can tell.
Apr 23, 2023 Even if you disappointed with a new Em drop, at least you know you getting another anniversary 10/20 years from May when it drops
Apr 23, 2023 One of my favorite pop artists, Joji, dropped a project last year that was only 24 minutes long and called it an album meanwhile earlier in his career he dropped an EP that was 17 minutes long… only a difference of 7 minutes. Artists and labels are weird sometimes lol
Apr 23, 2023 Joji sucks… he was much better in his Filthy Frank days. That’s when he wasn’t afraid to tell the truth about this sensitive, SJW world we live in…
Apr 23, 2023 You realize that was a character right? Those weren’t his actual views… in fact they were the opposite. Even the description of that YouTube channel says that Filthy Frank is the embodiment of everything a person should not be in order to highlight the ridiculousness of racism, misogyny, legalism, injustice, ignorance and other social blights. If you really align with Filthy Frank’s beliefs, you should probably look in the mirror and examine yourself.
Apr 24, 2023 I think it would be dope to hear some Em songs produced by Metro Boomin, Tyler the Creator, and Kanye West just to name a few. h---, throw a F1LTHY beat in there for the f--- of it.
