Sep 4, 2021 roots was dres album Compton . Eminem had enough material for relapse 2 and 3 and scrapped it all to make recovery. Wait what are you even going on about I just read the rest
Sep 4, 2021 Heres what i have said about songs that didnt make the cut regarding MMLP. Kim was recorded in 1998 and made it to the album. Are u telling me that from 1998 up until april 2000 Eminem recorded exactly 14 tracks for sslp and 14 tracks for mmlp and nothing else? He probably has dozens of unreleased songs from that period, some aimed for sslp and some for mmlp and some tracks were probably never meant for any of the albums, they are just loosies, therefore Em didnt count them as songs that didnt make the cut. He probably didnt think about if for two seconds. He might have been referring to The Kids and s--- On You which were on the original tracklist for mmlp but didnt make the cut. Maybe he talked about Bad Influence. Look around on the net and there is info on about 6-8 tracks recorded during the mmlp sessions. Also, this ”hidden tape” on this picture is between mmlp and tes. Maybe he recorded songs from may 2000 up until mid 2001 or something, songs that was recorded after mmlp and therefore never intended for that album, but a seperate release. Some of it ended up on Devils Night most likely, maybe even TES.. i heard say goodbye to hollywood was recorded shortly after mmlp but was remade later on for tes.. some of you sound like u dont even want songs from the vault.. there exists plenty.. @Guma help me out
Sep 4, 2021 Look what Dj Head once said You’ve worked on and heard plenty of music that most people will never hear in their lifetime. What’s some of the illest material you’ve ever heard in the studio with Em that’s never been released? There is one song that I wish would come out. I know he didn’t like it, but I think Dre or Mel-Man did it. I can’t remember the name of the song, but it was hot as s---. Whoo! This was in between The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show. This song is, man….this song is ridiculous. It’s classic, classic, classic Em. You know how he can get serious but also funny all in the same gameplan? It was on that level, but it was like d---! Everything about that song was classic Em beyond belief. It had like a New Edition hook on it. That song was my number one Eminem song. I wish I had a copy of that s---. I have no f---ing idea why Em didn’t like that track, because all of us was like, “Dude, you got to put that s--- out!” Paul [Rosenberg] and Denaun [Porter] and everyone were like, “Dog…really?” The wordplay, the rhyme schemes were all in the pocket real hard. I haven’t thought about that song in a long time.
Sep 4, 2021 The fact he wrote MMLP (Amsterdam) and then lost the notepad, to then come back and rewrite one of the greatest hip hop albums is absolute insanity to me.
Sep 4, 2021 I have faith that after Eminem puts out his last album and decides to retire he will start putting out his unreleased material. Starting with Relapse 2.
Sep 4, 2021 Kim was the first song Em recorded for MMLP, he was done with SSLP by then. Also, the tape between MMLP and TES should be Devil's Night imo.
Sep 4, 2021 Yes Kim was the first one recorded for mmlp, even if sslp was done by then my point still stands. And i dont buy into the theory about those hidden tapes are well known albums that were officially released. If it’s Devils Night, why no D12 World or h--- The Sequel? If it’s Shady XV and Southpaw, why no 8 Mile and The Re Up? And why not write the names of the album since we are already aware of these albums just like his soloalbums? They are either hinting at something or they simply did it for no reason, or just to get people to talk
