Sep 6, 2021 I respect your opinion and to be clear I don't hate MMLP2, it's just a weirder Em album IMO. Probably more so to do with Rick Rubin's influence. The rock/rap beats didn't really hit well and it marked the beginning of Em's overly technical style
Sep 6, 2021 I think Kendrick is gonna drop next. Dude dying to get out of TDE. Then, I'm gonna say Jay.
Sep 6, 2021 I think Em will drop before Kendrick. Kendrick is going to want some promo and a decent roll out. He hasn’t dropped in a few years and people just aren’t checking for him… Eminem will just drop out of the blue.
Sep 6, 2021 I think the stars are actually aligning for Em to have a some sort of "modern" rollout. With the recent post of hip hop breaking the internet soon with something in relation to Em, the new merchandise drop, recent features, and role in BMF. The Shady team is extremely calculated in how they do things.
Sep 6, 2021 The shady team is calculated? Since when? I’d like a rollout. I’d enjoy the hype. But Eminem just isn’t about that since revival.
Sep 6, 2021 I think Kendrick started his rollout with that song he featured on. And Jay is shooting a video this week. Beyoncé also said new music soon, maybe they want to tour together early next year or something
Sep 6, 2021 yeah. His rollout started when he announced his final album on TDE. I’d expect about a month or so of promo before we get a album .
Sep 6, 2021 Calculated when it comes to Em and when he comes out of his fox hole. Kamikaze was effective as a surprise drop because Em was active on social media for months prior to it dropping. People were checking for his posts back then, not just Stans. The last 2 albums lacked any engagement from Em prior to his albums dropping which I believe affected his sales. I bet side B's sales were a shock to his team and trust me, he doesn't want to end his #1's streak. I could be wrong but I bet there is more awareness around his next project.
