Sep 8, 2021 Relapse was a great mixtape. Recovery was an amazing return, he dressed great, and it was promoted greatly (from a marketing perspective). MMLP2 had the best promo I’ve seen. It was a true shocker and I loved Berzerk snippet. The first ten seconds of the track he sounds like straight from MMLP. Revival had the worst promo ever and the album is utter trash. Even the great track like Believe is mixed terribly and he sounds horrible and all over the place on the album. Rock beats are utter trash. The intro and interlude tracks are just some unfinished and cut off songs. Were they really serious? Seems like they were high for sure and just put random tracks together. Kamikaze was great, it aged okay and now just a good album. MTBMB is probably a fourth best. Love both sides.
Sep 8, 2021 Revival rollout still makes no sense to me. They had a site and billboards up, ads on tv and Trevor fake promoting a drug with a proper logo for the album. And I think this part was cool but when the first ads dropped only one person caught that it was for an Em album and Paul had to make it clear with that IG post promoting Yela. Then they changed the logo, acted like there was no album coming, used the SNL slot to perform old songs and made the tracklist reveale through a fanpage that made everyone believe that it was fake. A part of me still wants to believe that the purpose of Revival was to flop since the beginning to get Em angry lol
Sep 8, 2021 Actually, no, Believe was fire. I listened to that s--- from the cd in my car recently. Somehow, Spotify Eminem songs are worse than cd albums quality. When I listen to Believe by Spotify, I might agree with you but when I listen to it by my original album cd, it's another story to me. Same goes for MTBMB too. That s--- sounds so much clearer by the cd.
Sep 8, 2021 Of course he wants a video, he’s just playing it down. We all know that Marsh masturbates over music video and very good promo.
Sep 8, 2021 I listened twice and never again, kinda the same I did with EPMD 2. I don't think every Em feat needs a video at all. Maybe on release week so he wouldn't have flopped so hard.
Sep 8, 2021 You guys were talking about it lol I just joined. You guys were saying they should have dropped the video to promote the album. He also dropped in the worst possible moment between Kanye and Drake, pretty stupid move by Shady having a whole year to drop it
