Em's song making abilities made him who he is. Em is lyrical and can write songs, not many can do both. Royce is just lyrical. There are some black rappers as good as Em though and I believe they get their love: Kendrick, Cole, Lupe, Royce, Kxng Crooked, Jay, Black Thought, Andre.....etc. All these guys get their props for being top lyricists.

Killshot was pointless to me as he said everything he needed to on Not Alike, way better and addressed what he needed too. Killshot was just a song, throwing playground insults back to him, how rich he is and showing off punchlines, s--- and pointless. Eminem only responds and disses now because it’s guaranteed good reactions and people going “OMG CANT BELIEVE EMINEM DID THIS! RIP MGK” It’s a cheap way to get positive reactions. Worked on Kamikaze and hasn’t stopped since, but getting played out now. Another album of it would be lame.
