Aug 11, 2023 Not putting Tupac and Nas in the 90's clip or Eminem and Wayne in the 2000's and putting Jay Z in the 2010's is insane And what the f--- are those three moving things before the British guy and the ugly b---- after him in the 2020's
Aug 11, 2023 Honestly these days I honestly don’t know when people mention things if they know the history. When you mentioned Ye with Pusha without Clipse / The Neptunes I was just checking the world knew that Push has been around for a long while. If you know the history than it’s just that. I have come to the point I just would rather teach/ give advice than spread negativity. My bad though I should have known better.
Aug 11, 2023 So we’ve had over 12 hours to sit with Haunted Ghost Town… what are we rating this album? I’m thinking an 7/10, Eminem’s best work since TES. Although the song “Rap Genius” brings the score down for me quite a bit, it’s just a blatant failed attempt at recreating “Rap God”. Not sure why he did that when it’s so out of place in the tracklist right after the saddest song on the album “My Ghosts”
Aug 11, 2023 50th anniversary of hip hop is a big dud lol not that i expected em to release but i expected someone to do something
Aug 11, 2023 I want someone to start chart watching Ezra’s track. It’s been out for a week, you know what time it is
Aug 11, 2023 It’s probably not gonna chart. If it does, it’ll be very low on the charts. People only care about the Em feature and even then it’s not something people are listening to over and over
Aug 11, 2023 Throw on som old 90’s records and then play a rap song from this year…. Really shows how incredible the rhyming and writing was back then. Even the sampling in the early 2000’s were more creative
Aug 11, 2023 I think the greatest evolution in hip-hop is the actual production. Bedroom producers today are at such a high level of creating melodies and beats. That’s one thing I can’t knock. Music is sonically way better, but I think the creativity and the actual rapping was next level back in the day
