Aug 13, 2023 The pre-hook is worse but I don’t like Em’s hook either, I think his voice sounds bad there. The singing part at the end of verse 3 is even worse to me especially with that jumpy flow… the rest of the verses are good though!

Aug 13, 2023 You forget how MMLP2 also had a diamond soon to be single and I just trashed it. It also sold a lot. It's just an ok album with some terrible stuff that led to Revival. Never called Recovery a classic once btw. Just love it from start to finish. Em's last classic to me was Relapse, and I'm afraid it will be his last one. Aug 13, 2023 To be fair, I’d probably listen to Recovery before I listen to Kamikaze. Recovery has some good highs, but as an overall album experience it could’ve been better. The shouting cadence on almost every track gets tiresome. Songs like “On Fire” are boring and lyrically unimpressive. A bunch of stupid lines and puns are sprinkled throughout the album. As much as I still hate his puns today, at least they’re better now than on Recovery… that’s when Puninem was in his infancy.

Aug 13, 2023 Me, Omar. He was funny back then, now he's just straight terrible. Swift, Porter and Kuniva were also cool, people just forgot since Em threw them in the trash with the rest of Shady except for 50 and Skylar the GOAT
