Sep 14, 2021 Such a label move having Crack A Bottle on Relapse. Well jarring too listen to when playing whole of Relapse. Same with Beautiful but least that is a good song and plays after DeJa Vu but still could do without it and have a more fitting song for the album.
Sep 14, 2021 Yeah to an extent I just think I might be burnt out on listening to Em albums which is crazy cause I'm still excited at the prospect of a new Em album lol Also Grip is a rapper I've just been introduced to so the topics, album concepts, beats, etc. are much fresher to me
Sep 14, 2021 Eminem's vocal layering was half the magic in his music. Ever since he came back from the hiatus he stopped doing it like that. Maybe because he was looking for a new sound or... who knows. That's why many of his songs after that are hit and miss, because they are missing that extra element. He still comes up with crazy flows. He still has great punchlines. Also, progressively, beat choices have gotten worse (they have improved considerably in the last 4 years though) and content got worse. But, back in the day, the way he layered vocals used to make up for bad lyrics or poor content. I'm f---ing sure if he released a new album going back to that, it'd be an absolute classic.
