Sep 21, 2023 That s--- was a near masterpiece IMO. At least when I watched it; I went into it thinking it may s--- and would be a kind of modern 8 Mile knock off... Not at all. I mean, it IS conceptually kind of that in a different framing, but... It's even better than 8 Mile, artisticlaly. That s--- is... I mean it makes 8 Mile raps and intensity look like candy child s---. s---'s intense and very well done. I didn't expect them to go as far as they did, and it's well shot, well made.

Sep 21, 2023 It's not like Interscope will know when Em is done. It's just something that will happen gradually. He will fade out and people will realize nothing is coming. People who retire don't go out with a big boom. Maybe in movies or in your made up scenario but in reality it's a lot more boring than that. They realize they're done after it's already been a while since their last album. I honestly don't know of any artist who put out a retirement album or promoted it as such and actually retired. People who do that always unretire pretty quickly. When Em hasn't released an album in 10 years then you'll know he's retired. Interscope can release all the compilation albums they want. Don't expect any album labeled as his retirement album.
Sep 21, 2023 Not sure if I’d go that far . But a tv show comedy/drama/battle rap thing well written would be fun I think . you get this kid in high school that wants to rap . He practices at the lunch table and whatever . Best friend f---s his mom and his girl friend . He battles the guy . Crowd goes wild… but that’s sort of how i picture the 8mile tv show
