Sep 23, 2023 I thought mine would be Paramore which is still my 2nd but by a long shot my favorite album of the year is still the new Hot Mulligan record. It's a genre I was super in the mood for and d--- near every song has lyrical content that hit me at the perfect time. I need to relisten to the Glaive and do a pass through of songs that I need to save from it, much different than his earlier EP's but I still dig the sound.

Then you'll love the Mulligan album lmao, just make sure to pull up lyrics cause the screaming can make a few lines harder to hear. I think Glaive and other hyperpop adjacent artists do a good job about being straightforward and sincere about their issues and it's pretty nice for the generation of mental illness to be getting people like that lol
