It could’ve been any physical activity, it’s obviously not pickleball specifically. He was a middle aged man with a drug addiction history so he probably didn’t have the strongest heart to begin with. Had he not also drowned in the jacuzzi he could’ve probably survived. Obviously this is all speculation from a non-expert based off of a brand new TMZ article that could be completely wrong. R.I.P. and bless his family and friends if true
