Nov 9, 2023 Same reason why Relapse is his last classic. Kamikaze could have been near this level if it wasnt for these tracks that dont fit the album. The Kamikaze theme was perfect after what he did on Revival only for doing it again
Nov 9, 2023 Sometimes I wish someone would ask Eminem what kind of album he would want to make if he didn't listen to anyone. And really, at this point in his career, he should only be making albums that he wants to make. I keep saying it, Relapse is the best album since his comeback and a classic because it's exactly what he wanted and felt at the time. After Relapse got bad reviews, he made the biggest mistake of his career: "There is no Relapse 2" After that, all the albums (with the exception of parts of Kamikaze) were made because others wanted it. Recovery was made because that kind of hip hop was in at the time and Paul and the label wanted it that way MMLP2 was made because Paul wanted it Revival was made so that every fan had something MTBMB was made because Dre liked the idea. Nov 9, 2023 Yeah that album was like that . But revival . Something happened there that wasn’t right. Recovery and mmlp were forced af. He did recovery because people didn’t like the accent then did mmlp2 because everyone cried that they wanted the old Eminem .
Nov 9, 2023 But something seems of with the album. The title, the cover, the hitcock stuff screams for a Serial killer/horror movie type of album, a modern Relapse. But it turned into something different. Its more like Kamikaze 2 with sprinkles of new and older stuff.
