Side A is a batch of songs made to be an album, structured to be one CD - as was side B. These are two albums. Packaged and marketed later as they were. Eminem himself said people liked Side A and he had nothing to do in lockdown so continued to make new tracks, and = Side B. Thas a new album. Not leftover tracks.
Nov 16, 2023 I see both sides of the Side B argument. On one hand, it's technically a deluxe album; the same album packaged with additional songs. On the other hand, it was released a year after the initial album and has an albums worth of music on it, complete with skits. It has songs that weren't deemed to be good enough for MTBMB's release, but also new songs recorded solely for Side B's release. I believe that it was intended to be a sequel, but Paul knew that it s----d a---, so it was marketed and released as a "Deluxe" in order to add to the total sales count of MTBMB, and also to avoid criticisms and avoid Eminem losing his consecutive number 1's record. Really, both opinions are correct. Technically speaking, this isn't a seperate album, but functionally it is.
