Nov 17, 2023 Side B is obviously a sequel as it was recorded after the original MTBMB. They labeled it as deluxe not because they thought the songs weren't good (otherwise they just wouldn't have released them at all) but because they knew they weren't catchy bangers casual listeners would dig. Plus, the formula hadn' t changed much and it made no sense to call the album dofferently than another MTBMB. Of course it is just my guessing but can you imagine Em releasing songs that he believes to be subpar? No, knowing Kamikaze Em It was more like: s---, the stupid mob won't realise how awesome the tracks are, as they are too intricate and I don't shout on them.
