Dec 8, 2023 Cause she kept the fire going for months and that was fun, Supsuck. I also enjoyed most of the singles. Marketing was on point too She dropped the ball with the album, just like plenty of other rapper this year, including Drake and Wayne, whole team dropped bad music this year.

So the marketing and promotion is meaningless if the the actual product is s---. So all that stuff does not matter if the music (Most Important) is not good. The album will come and go because of the music being bad.

Paul needs to hang with whoever is in charge of Nicki’s marketing. The whole reason of the hype is that she managed to have another number 1 record.

Dec 8, 2023 I agree mostly. But it was refreshing at the time to get a lot of “I’m here to just rap” songs with a ton of really great verses. It’s kind of what a lot of people wanted at the time. It would be cool to see something more impactful/artsy next project though. Even if it’s riskier for him. You have to admit, even though they varied in quality/reception the whole Relapse/Recovery/MMLP2/Revival albums were memorable and impactful because he was at least going for some sort of vision and sound that was different for him.
