It’s an acquired taste type of thing I think. People dickride Carti too much though, it happens with every popular artist even Eminem. People who act like it’s the best music ever need to chill

Dec 8, 2023 Yeah, what Ripper said is pretty much it. The dude isn't as prolific as so many make him out to be, and I think he's done net harm to hip hop with his offspring all sounding like him but worse and not creative, but he has a very different sound and style than almost anything else out there. Sometimes I vibe with it (Beno remix goes hard), other times I'm left scratching my head as to how the mf just said what I thought he said and still gets a free pass for spitting cringe. Definitely hit and miss, and a unique acquired taste. Much like Eminem.
