Dec 9, 2023 If I liked the song I could easily overlook it. His delivery is so off-putting throughout, and the bravado is so over-the-top as to be juvenile. So Bad is almost the same exact song and no one ever mentions it except to trash it (as they should, but why not Seduction too I'll never understand).

Dec 9, 2023 Not a fan of that new condensed logo in general, I kinda feel like I'm having a stroke when I look at it too closely. Big nitpick but whatever. Yeah the MMLP2 cover isn't one of my favorites, with that, and Kamikaze and MTBMB, they feel fine but nothing special. I agree some of the other photos for MTBMB were really dope and I would've preferred them to the shovel one. I've said this before and I'll say it again, I actually think the Revival cover was IN THEORY one of his better covers of late, as it draws a parallel between Em's disappointment with America and his disappointment with himself. It's clever, it's just that the album utterly fails to do anything with that idea. Covers are a huge part of the album experience. They shape how you interpret every single song. If the tone, the colors, the theming of the cover are off, the whole album could feel off. I don't think Em has ever had a dud of an album cover, but the last few ironically aside from Revival have been punching the clock kinda. Kamikaze gets a pass because it's an homage and it fits.
