Dec 16, 2023 Cartoon characters aren't real so they can't have real ages. The creator could have written her to be 100 years old and ageless and that wouldn't change the fact she doesn't look a day over 12, her face more like 7. Very convincing.
Dec 16, 2023 Fax. He's run out of styles finally. The ironic thing is, most rappers rap the same for 20 years. Nas has sounded the f---ing same since 1994. But, we're used to Eminem sounding drastically different. That's partly why he remained exciting. 'My Name Is' vs. 'The Way I Am' is absurd. But, I think he's finally run out.

Dec 16, 2023 Eminem's style has changed a lot since MMLP2, still more so since HTS and Recovery, never mind Relapse. He still changes his sound, but gradually now, which is natural and to be expected for a man his age. In his mid 40s and early 50s it's unrealistic to expect sudden, drastic changes in style from album to album, and his voice finished maturing years ago. Flow wise though this snippet is vaguely reminiscent of his old style (think something like SFTM), and even his delivery seems a little different. I'll take it.

Dec 16, 2023 I’ve said something similar to this numerous times and people still forget it. It’s fine to criticize Eminem (there’s plenty to criticize) but at the end of the day having unrealistic expectations is the fault of the opinion haver.

Dec 16, 2023 If he’s going to stick to a style of delivery, MTBMB: Side A is by far my favourite & I hope he chooses that. There’s a blend of energy, passion, intensity & less ear grating shouting. Post Side A I’ve found too soft, slightly monotone & occasionally emotionless in his delivery, whether from features or Side B itself. Guns Blazing is a huge example of this, the writing is top notch, the content is great too, but he just feels like he’s not interested in what he’s saying, even in comparison to Black Magic on the same project. Side A was also mixed incredibly. It’s the best an Em album has sounded since Relapse & I hope we get more of the same on the next full release. Side B isn’t necessarily bad in these areas, it’s all an improvement since Recovery & it’s not always a problem, but most of it feels like a downgrade from what came just before it. It’s hard to take the features at face value anyway for what’s to come because things change so often with Em’s music.
