Dec 16, 2023 Also, another factor related to his age is the fact he seems to have lost most of the vocal elasticity he had when he was a lot younger, as I think someone on this forum mentioned years ago. Even in the Relapse days his voice was still very elastic. Take Chemical Warfare for example. His talking voice at the end sounds basically the same as now, but would he still be capable of making his voice sound like this today? I seriously doubt it. That's why I'd bet anything the Discombobulated hook is from '09. I'm apparently the only person on this forum who thinks this, so I don't know how people who think he can't change his style anymore manage to reconcile that belief with thinking that song is 100% new. If I believed Eminem could still sound like that if he wanted to, I'd be psyched.

Dec 16, 2023 He's capable of all the voices. This is why it amazes me when c---- are like 'OMG IF HE 'COULD' SOUND LIKE THIS WHY HASN'T HE ALWAYS??', like it's not a choice. Like the tone/style you like more is 'the correct' and he's failing or unable to do the correct. From all the vocal analysis from Em fans, I've not heard any evidence he's incapable or different from any tone from any of his styles. He chooses to try and do new tones and create new styles. Ya'll n----s need better ears and better brains.
