Dec 26, 2023 The argument goes both ways, both sides over react and trigger to everything they disagree with. Its fairly boring even having the debates, im just glad my friend group doesnt care if people have different opinions about "political" issues and still get along fine. I think its because none of us use social media so we arent over reactive to stuff. On here ill bicker and stuff and make sarcastic comments but for the most part i dont care about anything.
Dec 26, 2023 It's not something I'd necessarily listen to every day, but I do find it entertaining. I think it's probably one of the most provocative, vivid, and expressive tracks on the album. It's a tough line to walk, because on one hand, the outrageous nature of the track is what makes it enjoyable to listen to, and on the other, you have to concede that by proxy of you enjoying it, you're also enjoying hearing about a little kid getting repeatedly molested, which is being played as a joke lmfao
Dec 26, 2023 Well, it doesn’t go both ways because the ‘woke’ crowd don’t pretend to not be concerned about social issues. The ‘anti-woke’ crowd pride themselves on the fact they don’t get offended, but when the jokes on them they throw the same hissy fits, except it’s through the lens of hypocrisy. Nothing worse than standing for nothing.
Dec 26, 2023 Sure whatever you say Both sides come across as absolute r-----s at times it just depends on the issue. But i mean if you enjoy having arguments with people who wont change their minds feel free
Dec 26, 2023 I only enjoy it cause it's so bad that it wraps back around to being semi entertaining, on top of it still being the same impressive rapping that was done on the album. Same boat of so bad it's a lil entertaining with Fack or Rain Man. Rain Man is easily the most listenable out of the bunch though. Yeah it's not hard to think about how one of black people's only outlets was (and to some extent still is) hip-hop, I don't think it's farfetched that the culture would want to keep it sacred especially after s--- like rock & roll practically got stolen from them. Not saying that white people shouldn't be in hip-hop cause there's a decent amount that have and still do love the craft and contributed to it but big white rappers are usually the first to leave the genre to do something "more interesting" at the drop of a hat, abandoning the thing that made them famous while usually bringing in the worst kind of fans imaginable lol.
Dec 26, 2023 Yeah because I know his intent. He's just winding the guy up. Jokes, and intent. Matter. Context matters.
Dec 26, 2023 Hopefully @BIG MONKEY never watches a comedian do stand-up in his life. He will think Ricky Gervais hates all African people with AIDS and that kids with terminal ill cancer is funny and that’s how he really feels. Jokes and intent don’t matter with the guy who claims he has the highest IQ on the forum.
Dec 26, 2023 Right, racial slurs aren't racist when the intent is to upset someone. Silly me! My point isn't that you're a racist, but a clumsy f---ing dipshit.
Dec 26, 2023 I never said I have the highest IQ on the forum, I said you have the lowest IQ on the forum. Though on second thought it's a tossup between you and Chaotistic Progress. There's nothing funny or "comedic" about "Spicmas". It just makes you sound like the awkward weirdo you are.
Dec 26, 2023 no. Saying a racial slur full stop is not racist. Why and how you're saying it is. A history teacher who says 'in the antebellum south, they would use the slur 'n----''... is not racist, for saying the word. Which is why banning words is fkn absurd. What are we 10 years old. @Supersonic wasn't saying it with racist intent. He's aware it's a racist slur yes, and is using it as if. But he's not. It's called a joke. There's a difference between that and someone actually using a slur, who is racist, being racist.
Dec 26, 2023 Calling a Hispanic person a <redacted> with intent to "wind them up" (your words) isn't a joke, it's simply racist. Whether one thinks that's a good thing or a bad thing or doesn't care is of course another question. We're obviously talking about USING slurs, not mentioning them. f---ing mouthbreather
Dec 26, 2023 You know you're speaking to a British person when they immediately go to Ricky Gervais and not someone who's actually good at stand-up
Dec 26, 2023 I don’t know man, old people can be pretty racist he probably hates Viets because of Vietnam war.
Dec 26, 2023 He's s---. Just using it as a random example-nothing more to it, bro. George Carlin, Bill Burr, and Louis C.K. are my go-to comedians. They're American, but I'm British, so how do you explain that one?
