Dec 26, 2023 Gervais is a great stand-up. People think they're comedy purists, because he didn't start in stand-up or 'earn his stripes' in clubs. Who gives af. If it's good it's good. Some of his best bits > your favorite comedian's comedian. Half the comedians who get quoted as 'great stand-ups' like Bill Burr aren't anywhere near as funny or inventive. And actually pretty corny and predictable.
Dec 26, 2023 Eminem - Drug Ballad (Offical Instrumental) A classic from a classic album. That's all I can say. Edit: @BIG MONKEY oh you were faster than me this time.
Dec 26, 2023 I like Gervais' TV work but so much of what I've seen of his standup feels like 2016 standards of being "edgy" mixed with very typical r/Atheism takes
Dec 26, 2023 Eminem been trending all day worldwide. Even out trending Christmas hashtags. This is getting big
Dec 26, 2023 Like I said before I enjoy his stuff like Derek and After Life but this just comes across as sauceless George Carlin Edit: His Golden Globes monologue was also quite good.
Dec 26, 2023 His Bible routine from his first stand-up is comedy gold. / views aside, whatever your beliefs. Just his style. His delivery. His approach with that. So new, and so confident, to be that sort of, casual and conversational, and just, layered with so much beautiful timing and delivery. s----s on everyone except Chapelle.
