Jan 14, 2024 I don't think this is true anymore tbh. They've done meaningless promo, constant merch drops and wheeled Eminem out of his cave quite often in the last 2-3 years. The end result is always the same though.
Jan 14, 2024 That was intentional. They saw the jump he received in followers/streams from the 3 min portion of his Super Bowl performance. Since then they have lined him up with big event appearances which have only boosted his streams, this tonight being the biggest exposure he's had since the Super Bowl. It is intentional.
Jan 14, 2024 National Em appearance tonight, first solo song/Music video in 3 years coming next week. Do the math.
Jan 14, 2024 The reason is to keep his name in the spotlight and continue to milk the brand… peloton, moms spaghetti, monthly merch, re-releasing an album every time 5 years passes since it was released, random Spotify playlists to promote old songs, etc. etc. Hopefully he releases some new music at some point soon and your comment may have been accurate in the past but these days Em’s team will do anything for a quick buck. New music doesn’t come in to it one bit
Jan 14, 2024 True and no lies there. He feeds a lot of mouths and doesn't handle that side of the business. His team is big on keeping him away for "mystique" like how celebrities used to be before social media. Really is key to his longevity. He over saturated himself a bit '18-'20 but did so to bounce back from Revival's backlash. The break from releases was needed to increase demand and start a new chapter.
Jan 14, 2024 I highly doubt Em will tease anything. He's made all his tweets n focus about Lions winning... he ain't gon be like 'ah s---, we lost!.. anyway check out my new song!'
Jan 14, 2024 Johhny. The videos are definitely just supporting the Lions and using his name to promote the game and hype around it. No hidden agenda, John lol.
Jan 14, 2024 Think the only hope for tonight is if the people in the studio with him ask "what's in the pipeline / what's coming next for you?" And he teases something that way - "working on new music" or "you'll see very soon" something like that to build hype
Jan 14, 2024 Delusional Drake fans being mad at Mos Def (a much better artist) for being factually correct is really funny.
Jan 14, 2024 Clearly not, John, Bet you your house. There will be no hint or indication of a new album in any shape or form, before, during or after the game. Clearly just using his platform to hype the game up, nothing more to it.
