Jan 19, 2024 I think it's just whatever. He will never label himself as retired or anything, as he will always be making music or be involved in some form or way until his death. It's a bit corny to say you're retired and then not be a year later like many artists have done, so it makes sense why he doesn't need to comment on whether he is making music or not. I believe he's at the stage of his career where he doesn't need to release albums just for the sake of it; he can continue doing what he's been doing for the last two years. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear another album from him in the next five years or whatever. If he is passionate about releasing an album or has an idea, we will hear about it. If not, it will continue like it has been, following in the footsteps of Jay-Z or Redman.
