Jan 27, 2024 Finally listened to his new Benzino diss verse, even though his flow is too off and stop and go, there are parts in the middle where he sounds naturally angry and the background vocals help. 5/10 but a step in the right direction after the ptsd revival gave me. Benzino still really won when you hear the full stories now. After Eminem’s black racist tapes, he had to take the 5 year hiatus. Guess everyone would have jumped all over him n probably tear his rep apart if he kept releasing music then. He put way too many hours into king mathers and studio time those years, his rehab was 6 months. Doesn’t take 5 years to put an album out, I always knew that wasn’t the real excuse he put no music out after the tapes. And Benzino beat Interscope in federal court for tying to sue the source for copying Eminem lines.
