Sep 24, 2021 Llol. sure every person in the studio shape an artist's sound in a way. Nobody would stand against that. I agree in a way but MMLP2 wasn't call because Em wanted to create another MMLP, he made the songs and it reminisced him of MMLP so he called MMLP 2. There is no concept to Em albums, he usually makes songs about anything and fit them under a general title. What was the original MMLP's concept ? Life of Marshall Mathers. What about MMLP 2 ? WEll, kinda same. His life again. What about TES ? Actually very similar. MTBMB was conceptual but again it was very inclusivepretty much any type of content. He smartly used Alfred's themes to create a concept where murders the beats etc. If he feels like calling his next album MMLP 3 for some reason so be it. It's his s---, he is the artist and he is free to do as he pleases, otherwise he is not an artist like you just said. But I seriously doubt he'll ever release another MMLP. And calling Stepping Stone and Castle forced is funny. Castle is regarded as the best song on that album and didn't sound forced. It's like saying Adriana Lima was / is not beautiful, lol. it is your opinion but even though this is all subjective, nobody would respect that opinion.

Sep 24, 2021 Yes there is concepts - Slim Shady LP (Slim Shady concept), Marshall Mathers LP (his life following the SSLP success, a contrast to the previous concept), The Eminem Show (The Truman Show), Encore (continuation of The Eminem Show), Relapse (using personal drug use parallels into crazed psychopathic scapes), MMLP2 (revisiting old themes), Revival (rehashing all eras in a collection), Kamikaze (suicide mission to launch attack at the culture) & finally Music to be Murdered By (Alfred Hitchcock). MMLP2 wasn’t about his life, there’s 1 song pertaining to that theory, Headlights. MTBMB was a botched attempt at using the Alfred Theme, he missed the mark with that concept tenfold. I’m sure most would agree in here with that, it was a smart concept, but not a smart execution even if the album itself is decent, the concept wasn’t. It is the best song on the album, but that album is Revival.

Sep 24, 2021 Lol. So MMLP's concept was following SSLP's success ? I don't think you know what concept means. None of his albums really have concepts like that. I don't see a conceptual difference between MMLP and MMLP 2. But not gonna waste my time explaining how he puts many different kind of songs in an album in very wide range of concepts under very inclusive album names such as MMLP, TES... How is MTBMB concept is not executed well. It's him murderding the beats lol. If you are into concepts you should never listen Eminem. Who cares, Castle is not just the best song on the album, it's 10/10 easily, a classic song, as good as any flawless Em song.
