Feb 5, 2024 No most of those groups are not mainstream. Cancel culture is not mainstream; hence when these types tried to get Dave Chapelle's and Gervais' specials taken down - they couldn't. Because there's just as much, if not more power structures - in this case Netflix, who disagree with them and aren't part of that; it's a MINORITY of workers who left Spotify or Netflix in protest. A misguided minority of narcissistic fools. They're a small minority of loud r-----ed, very organised mini mobs which cause a lot of noise and the mainstream media likes to prod, support and sensationalise because that = conflict and debate which = clicks, ratings etc. but go to the average person on the street - or think about the majority of your friends and family, I'd bet most of them are not cancel culture. They are the counterculture, they just make a lot of organised noise. Dumb c----.
