Feb 9, 2024 this is extremely superficial by the way. You can totally see the difference when somebody like jack harlow tries to impress eminem on killer rmx with some multis and then Cordae who can rap steps in and then Eminem comes with a verse that may or may not be horrible but is technically great. The average rapper can't do it like that just because they got the formula. You can also see differences between rappers who are dope at multis but aren't saying s---, and I don't mean content but just really not saying s--- and only putting words together, and those who can do it all. Rhyming isn't everything but the fact that you understand how it's done doesn't make it unimpressive
Feb 9, 2024 and that also creates nice cadences and flows like when you hear that part in sing for the moment "no bearing, it's so scary, in a house that allows, no swearing" or lose yourself, the times the "o" sound is repeated dictates the cadence and makes it sound good. There's two ways to have great flow in rap and that's by having great cadence that comes with cleverly written rhyme schemes or basically singing like the new rappers

Feb 9, 2024 I didn't say there wasn't a difference. Or imply Eminem wasn't saying anything. Or that guys who rhyme a lot are not by default. Just that rhyming in itself, in and of itself, lining multis... is not difficult. Once you practice even a little bit and if you have a good mind for words I guess, let alone doing it 24/7 most your life like Em; but he acts like it's so difficult. It ain't.
Feb 9, 2024 But it's not difficult. I know you're saying it's difficult to say something and be meaningful and all the integral elements somebody like Em has and do it... I'm saying that ain't either. Writing a purposeful song is, I'd say. Like, writing Stan... is impressive af. But rhyming about, anything, whether you're being meaningful or not, I disagree that it's difficult. It's just sounds, Eminem lines up sounds like a robot, it doesn't matter whether he's rapping about his a--- or something serious, he's doing the same thing. It's a knack and a trick. Not difficult.
