    One positive thing with Em's discog is that even in the albums that are mostly misses there's usually always a song or two that are genuinely incredible.

    Yeah, seriously, I know a lot of people prefer tracks from Side B...

    But..
    vs. Recovery, MMLP2, Revival and Relapse minus Beautiful...

    I think it's his most solid album since TES. It feels like a complete Eminem album with, yes everything has flaws - so it has bad lines, songs you may not like as much, whatever; but, it feels cohesive and a batch of songs that paint a sound and picture.

    Would be good if he did more multi song stories like that, Arose is a worse song but the writing with the context of Castle makes it a huge standout.

    I don't remember if he's ever done that before or since, unless we're counting skits that serve as intros

    so I guess they're unique in that way, even if castle feels like a lesser deja vu to me

    Yeah he hasn't done anything like that before. Castle definitely has a case of being repetitive in his discography but I like the idea of it being letters.

    Anyone have recommendations on a duo that trades off lines like BME? Their output is hit or miss but I feel like when they're at their peak it's super satisfying to listen to, like you know they recorded those songs together.

    Recently went through all of the RTJ albums and it scratched that itch and wanted to know if I'm missing out on anything else.
