Mar 24, 2024 d--- is a ridiculously good album, but there's a few tracks that had no business being on there like FEAR and ---. Never really liked DUCKWORTH either. I think people's issues with that album is that he doesn't really sound like a rapper at times because of the alien-like voices, flows and beats he uses. Personally I like it and think it perfectly exemplifies experimentation done well. Kendrick has always been like that though, listen to Overly Dedicated or S80 and there's a lot of experimentation on there. In fact, his only real, typical 'rap' album is GKMC. But yeah I'd love to hear another album where he's just straight rapping again, something similar to how he sounded on Compton would be amazing. Don't get me wrong, Mr Morale is still a good album, but it's definitely his weakest.
Mar 24, 2024 https://www.reddit.com/r/Eminem/s/8w4M4MpOVV Joyner talks about asking Eminem to redo his verse
Mar 24, 2024 DUCKWORTH used to be one of my favs but for some reason I've grown to dislike it over time. The ending just doesn't sit well with me, too corny lol
Mar 24, 2024 When was it ever announced merch bundles ship on 5/31? Those Tshirts definitely have the new album with them dropping that day
Mar 24, 2024 That's the issue right there. Joyner says Eminem told him no one has ever told him to redo his verse before. The same thing happened with Just Blaze back in the day when he told him he sounded like s--- Eminem acts humble but it's a shame no one feels like they can tell him the truth about his music. We probably would've been saved from countless rubbish songs and messy albums if it wasn't for his yes men and people being too p---- to call him out on stuff I mean has he even worked with Just Blaze or Joyner since they criticised him?
Mar 24, 2024 Nahhh d--- is his best album followed by GKMC then S80 the rest I don’t give a f--- about they a--- king kunta and alright they are decent songs
Mar 24, 2024 on the one hand, I respect the balls to tell Eminem to redo his s---, on the other hand, you're a mid to mediocre artist and Em's giving you a verse, stfu and take it not to be a stan or anything, if it was Nas i'd be saying the same thing
Mar 24, 2024 I always suspected that it's more about Em keeping yes men close cause he can't take criticism too well and less about people being afraid of telling him when he's being s--- I mean just look at kamikaze, it wasn't only the haters and people talking s--- that got dissed, it was also those who had bad things to say about revival
Mar 24, 2024 also, sorry for double quoting but the "wow, nobody ever told me to redo my verse" reminded me of that one time gordon ramsay's food was rejected by a salty chef on kitchen nightmares and he said "wow, in 20 years nobody ever turned down my food, now I'm seriously insulted" all this eminem/ramsay connections are f---ing stupid but they happen
Mar 24, 2024 Do we know for sure which verse is the original and which is the redone one? (Either Eminem being gay, or his kid being gay)
Mar 24, 2024 I wanna believe that the one with the son being gay was the original and joyner decided that wasn't corny enough so it had to be changed
