Mar 26, 2024 even tho i think we are getting an album really soon, its weird that Dre said "coming this year" like he would probably say soon? if it was this close no? Idk im really worried that this announcment is gonna be similar to when he said he was working on Revival more then a year prior to its release
Mar 26, 2024 The photo of them in the all the studio last week basically guarantees its finished.. SSLP25 merch ships out in 5/31. Its coming soon
Mar 26, 2024 This is exactly the reason why it’s worded in a vague format, to keep the fans guessing. They’re doing a hybrid rollout.
Mar 26, 2024 I wonder if Eminem will hop on the trend of naming his song after a random female pop star.
Mar 26, 2024 Yeah but yet again, pictures from the studio and also Denaun saying its really soon, and the whole thing wher Paul said that if they are gonna announce things its gonna be really close to the drop. I wanna believe its here within a month
Mar 26, 2024 Do you think Em will follow this trend where he hides the features on the album for a couple of days/weeks?
Mar 26, 2024 2014 Forest Hills Drive is his only classic and that is only arguably a classic album, not undeniably. Music is subjective, but MMLP, TES are undeniable classics, with SSLP and Relapse being arguable classics on top of that. Eminem’s has output more great albums by far, and has pushed the boundaries of the art form. “But JCole is consistent” Consistently mid-good, that’s not what gets you in the Top 3 conversation. Might as well put JID, Denzel Curry, and Joey badass in the top 3 as well.
Mar 26, 2024 Can’t share more than this, cover art dropping at midnight. Eminem - Giraffe Mathers LP 1. intro 2. Necks reach the sky ft. Royce da 5’9 & Bizzarre 3. Brown spots ft. Nav 4. Living off Trees ft. Snoop Dogg 5. Skyline Grazer 6.Aerial Ambitions ft. Puff Diddy 7.Elevated Appetite 8. Head in the clouds ft. Kendrick Lamar 9. Neck interlude 10. Skyward Realm
Mar 26, 2024 Drake has more classic albums than Cole, and he is (rightly) not in any top 3 or top 5 conversation. Cole is still relatively young, if he can drop an undeniable classic or two then he deserves to be spoken about. But Eminem's legacy was already solidified with SSLP, MMLP, Devils Night, TES and 8 Mile. The magnitude of his downfall was massive though. To go from TES to Encore in 2 years was unforgivable. Then the years from 04-08 were basically a waste of time except a handful of songs. Relapse isn't a classic by any means. It's a highly controversial album and probably his most subjective. It's weird, awkward and lacks replay value. But I can see why it's liked and it does have one of his best ever songs (Deja Vu). I enjoyed Recovery and think it was necessary for his discography and legacy. But again the years from 2011-2017 were an absolute joke. The latter stages of Eminem's career is wildly inconsistent, and that's being generous. Nothing he's put out since 09 touches that 99-03 run, not even close. But those years are what cemented him as one of the GOATS. ..Very few rappers have topped that run. Eminem's worst music is definitely worse than Cole's and the likes. But the same is true for his best music.
Mar 26, 2024 A reminder that it has already been a week since the announcement, this album will be here before we know it
