Sep 27, 2021 Whyd you tag stansxn for this?? We been getting venom related s--- for days now. Nothing is confirmed
Sep 27, 2021 Something kinda new I guess - an Em diss in new Family Guy: Could be coincidence, or could it be that Em and Family Guy writers behind the scenes planned this? His name is popping up in too many places lately - and Family Guy or Simpsons usually wouldn't diss Eminem... cause they seem to like him, probably his humour; this sounds like something Em himself would ask them to say, to be like self-deprecating. They also mentioned 'mom's spaghetti' which is pretty fkn coincidental right now. Keep in mind Em actually worked with the Family Guy team already, remember this? Which means Em and his team probably still have connections there. Seems like their new style of marketing is to use as many past collaborators as possible to get his name circulating with hints. Adam Levine, Skylar Grey, now Family Guy
Sep 27, 2021 Venom and Carnage? Are they connected somehow? Or why is carnage in the discussion all of a sudden? Have i missed something? How many loose clues are there? Venom? Carnage? Spaghetti? Mmlp3? A million different artist who cant write properly on social media?
Sep 27, 2021 What do you mean is venom and carnage connected? The movie is called “venom: let there be carnage” . And cletus kassidy is the host for carnage . Cletus kassidy is a serial killer .
Sep 27, 2021 it’s what he’s into and it’s something that inspires him. And it’s not like every single song is about murdering people.
Sep 27, 2021 That makes it even cheesier. It would be better if every song was, because if he's inhibiting a character, it's weird to break out of it on the same album. Like on Revival. Can't have a song about being a good dad and being all normal and literal, then another about going on a murderous rampage. It's stupid lol. That's what he's struggled with since, I'd say... MMLP2. He doesn't stay in the character of the album. He doesn't seem to get that what made MMLP 1 so consistent was him staying in that character from start to finish. Except, for at the end of 'Stan', but that was done in a very tasteful and interesting way.... because he's playing this super villain the entire album, and essentially being a massive troll... but then he gives you a little peek behind the curtains just for one moment to make a point. Super interesting. But that, compared to being this guy one minute, another totally contrasting guy the next, just makes the albums feel... like a mess. Along with stylistic mix-ups. Although I will say since Kamikaze... he's a lot better at this again. Like, staying in character and also staying in style. Like, there's isn't a song on Kamikaze which feels out of place, and there isn't, IMO, on either of the 'Murder albums too. They're all very consistent in style and tone. So, the Revival reaction was just what he needed I guess.
