Apr 3, 2024 I'm done with the formulaic s---, love songs where hip hop and drugs are the significant other, generic love songs, another attempt at a victory anthem, another triple time bs that ruins a nice song, a skylar grey feature, f--- all that for once P.s: I know ALL of these are gonna be on the new album, let me blindly hope they aren't until it comes out
Apr 3, 2024 I feel like his cadence in the last couple of years makes so many of his songs sound hippity hoppity lyrical spiritual individual rap god over the top fast, even the ones that ain’t.
Apr 3, 2024 I don't care about vocals as long as he doesn't revert back to 2014-17 era. The flows are important and production is important. Hooks are important. Those three are his weakness in his post hiatus music.
Apr 3, 2024 Im just excited one of my favourite artists of all time is still releasing music, i literally go into an album with 0 wants or expectations. Helps me judge the music for what it is, and not be disappointed by it. That way i either like it or don't based on what it is

Apr 3, 2024 I do that with every album haha Theyre the ones in control not me, i listen to a ton of music, and find it funny when i call someone trash on here cause theres a 99 percent chance ive listened to a good amount of their music, but people still get mad sometimes. At work i get a lot of time to just listen to stuff so i have a massive amount of music knowledge and stuff(not to sound like one of those arrogant people, i just listen to a lot) i love everything from 50s music to some current stuff.

Apr 3, 2024 Yeah I’ve been making a bunch of predictions and everything but overall I have 0 expectations from this album. Recent features show us what the album COULD sound like, but even that isn’t a guarantee. If you have too many expectations you’ll be disappointed every time

Apr 3, 2024 Sure, I’d be okay with it because MTBMB wasn’t horrible or anything and had some good songs on it. Ideally though, I’d want something better or at least somewhat different than MTBMB especially after 3+ years. I think MTBMB had too many filler songs, and I’d want the new album to have less filler songs. I’m not going into the album thinking about that though. I just press play without thinking and without expectations
